Roofometry provides this Privacy Policy for the Roofometry SMS account-notification program and the web forms used to join it. It covers this messaging program, not every category of business records stored in the application.
Information we collect
We collect your mobile phone number and the account information associated with it, including your name and email address. We record phone verification status, SMS opt-in and opt-out timestamps, and message delivery information such as recipient number, message purpose, delivery status, provider identifiers, and errors.
We process verification codes to confirm control of a phone number. We also process opt-out and opt-in keywords received through our messaging provider. Website sessions and technical logs help us operate the forms, prevent abuse, and troubleshoot problems.
How we use your information
Roofometry uses this information to send requested phone-verification codes, deliver account-access notifications to users who opt in, honor messaging preferences, maintain security, and investigate delivery failures. This SMS program does not send advertising or third-party marketing.
SMS consent and sharing
We do not sell or share your SMS opt-in data or personal information with third parties for marketing purposes, and we do not use this program for third-party advertising.
Roofometry does not transfer SMS consent to other brands or businesses. Service providers such as Twilio and mobile carriers process the information needed to deliver messages. Hosting providers process information needed to operate the application. These operational disclosures do not authorize providers to use your information for their own marketing. We may also disclose information when required by law or necessary to protect rights and security.
Your choices
The account-notification checkbox is optional. You may skip the phone-number step. Requesting a verification code does not by itself enroll you in ongoing account notifications. To stop SMS messages, reply STOP. You can also withdraw notification consent or remove your number in account settings. Retention and security
We retain messaging information as needed to operate the program, document preferences, resolve issues, and meet applicable obligations. Some records may remain in backups or be retained to honor an opt-out. We restrict access to authorized users and service providers; no storage or transmission method is completely secure.
